Stardew Valley Character Editor

Import a supported Stardew Valley 1.6 save file, then use the Stardew Valley character editor to edit money, skills, professions, mine progress, health and wallet flags.

BACK UPIMPORTEDITDOWNLOAD

Upload a save to open the character editor

Choose a copy of your main save file. After it loads, use the editor navigation to review and change supported player fields.

No account is required. Keep an untouched backup before editing.

Back up first. Save editing can corrupt a file or behave differently with unsupported versions and mods. Keep the original save outside the editor folder.
CHECK BEFORE EXPORT

How the Stardew Valley character editor supports a careful test

Use the Stardew Valley character editor as a focused review rather than a shortcut for changing every number in a farm. Start with the copied save, compare the visible money, skill, profession or wallet value with your notes and change only the field connected to the problem. This keeps the result easier to explain and gives you a clear baseline for recovery.

After the download, open the farm in a separate test location and check the character screen, the related gameplay action and the next save. If a value looks correct but another system behaves unexpectedly, close the game and restore the untouched copy. A small, documented edit is safer than stacking several character changes before the first result has been verified.

CHARACTER EDITOR

What can the Stardew Valley character editor change?

The Stardew Valley character editor groups common player-facing values into a reviewable workspace. It is intended for controlled changes to a copied farm: import the main file, inspect the current value, update one related field and export a test copy. The page does not promise to calculate every downstream consequence of a manually changed number.

A field may be absent because the current save does not contain it, because it belongs to another module or because the editor intentionally does not expose it. Missing controls are a limitation to respect, not an invitation to edit unrelated XML by guesswork.

Character editor fields

Money and resourcesReview supported money and other player or farm-facing values exposed by the imported save.
Skills and experienceInspect supported skill levels and experience values before deciding whether a change is needed.

PLAYER FIELDS

Character changes supported by the Stardew Valley character editor

MoneyReview supported money values and confirm the wallet after loading a test farm.
SkillsInspect experience and skill fields, then make one planned change at a time.
ProfessionsReview profession selections separately instead of assuming experience will infer every choice.
ProgressCheck mine level, health, stamina, Qi values, walnuts, hay and wallet flags.

The character editor exposes supported values; it does not certify that an extreme number is sensible or compatible with every version, mod or platform. Keep a note of the original value and make a small change that you can verify inside the game.

REALISTIC EXAMPLES

Stardew Valley character editor examples and checks

If you want to correct money after a test, record the current amount, import a backup copy and change only the money field. Download the result under the original filename, load the test farm and confirm the wallet, shop interaction and next save behave normally. Do not replace the only working farm until that check is complete.

For skills and professions, treat the two areas as related but separate. A higher experience value may not choose the profession you expect, and a profession change may affect gameplay decisions that the editor cannot preview. Review both values and make a single planned change.

Progress fields need the same caution. Mine levels, wallet flags, Qi values, health and stamina can interact with the rest of a farm's state. Test the exported copy and restore the backup if anything looks wrong.

INPUT AND OUTPUT NOTES

Character editor limits, errors and safe recovery

The input is a supported Stardew Valley 1.6 save file that the browser can parse. The output is a new downloadable copy, not an automatic replacement of the original. Older files, console exports, malformed XML and heavily modded data may fail validation or omit fields.

If a farm will not load, remove the edited copy, restore the untouched folder and retry only after you understand which field caused the problem. Do not try to repair a failing copy by making more random changes.

SUPPORTED SCOPE

What the character editor does not promise

The parser targets supported Stardew Valley 1.6 save XML, including compressed or plain content that the browser can read. It does not promise every older version, console export, malformed file or modded farm. Platform file access is also separate from parsing, so mobile users may need to export a compatible file through a file manager.

A successful download means the browser created an output file; it does not guarantee that every edited value is valid for every game state. Keep the manual backup and test the farm before replacing the working save.

FAQ

Stardew Valley character editor FAQ

What fields are available in the Stardew Valley character editor?

The current page exposes supported skills, experience values, professions, health, stamina, Qi Gems, Qi Coins, hay, golden walnuts, deepest mine level and selected wallet unlocks.

Can I change Stardew Valley money with this editor?

The character area is the place for player and farm values supported by the imported save structure. If a field is not shown after import, it is not exposed by the current module.

Does changing skills also unlock professions?

Skills and professions are shown as separate editor areas. Review both before downloading; the tool does not promise to infer a profession from a manually changed experience value.

Is the character editor safe for old or console saves?

The supported target is Stardew Valley 1.6 save data that can be parsed by the editor. Older versions, console exports and heavily modded files should be tested only from a backup.
